The Ballroom Spirit Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting the next generation of ballroom dancers. Founded with the belief that dance has the power to transform lives, the foundation promotes excellence, opportunity, and community within the world of ballroom dancing. Through scholarships, youth programs, and event sponsorships, Ballroom Spirit Foundation helps young dancers gain access to training, competition, and mentorship opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach. The foundation proudly supports events such as the Ballroom Spirit Youth Dance Tour, as well as national and international competitions that celebrate artistry, discipline, and the joy of dance. Christine Y. Matsumoto, PT, DPT is a Physical Therapist, Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and Performance Coach for ballroom dancers. As a dancer herself, she utilizes her over 20 years of dance technique and knowledge with her understanding of training for physical performance, injury prevention, and movement optimization to help dancers bring out their best performance and artistry.
